CSCC-EEESD-EE-2007

The annual convention and gathering of all the WSEAS entities (Working Groups, Technical Committees, Editors,
Associate Editors, Research Directors, Projects Coordinators,etc...) was held in July during the CSCC.
In 2007, this official meeting attracted 1230 papers and from them only 552 were accepted.
So, the Society members were gathered during the 11th CSCC celebrating simultaneously the 11th anniversary from the establishment of the Society (15-July-1996!).

The CSCC was composed by the following parallel conferences.

11th WSEAS CSCC Multiconference. Agios Nikolaos, Crete Island, Greece, July 23-28, 2007
11th WSEAS Int. Conf. on CIRCUITS (July 23-25, 2007)
11th WSEAS Int. Conf. on SYSTEMS (July 23-25, 2007)
11th WSEAS Int. Conf. on COMMUNICATIONS (July 26-28, 2007)
11th WSEAS Int. Conf. on COMPUTERS (July 26-28, 2007)

In parallel, the Society organized also two other conferences:

Agios Nikolaos, Crete Island, Greece, July 24-26, 2007

3rd IASME / WSEAS Int.Conf. on ENERGY, ENVIRONMENT, ECOSYSTEMS and
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT (EEESD'07)

4th WSEAS/IASME Int.Conf. on ENGINEERING EDUCATION (EE'07)

BEST PAPERS: The authors of the Best Papers have been invited to send extended versions of their papers after the conference to the Editor-in-Chiefs of WSEAS Journals. These extended versions might be published in the WSEAS Journals after the conference with additional review. This is a very limited number of high-quality papers.
No-show authors have been excluded from any further publication in WSEAS Journals, regardless of the quality of their papers.

Publications of accepted papers for these conferences:

(A) Books with ISBN and ISSN (see details and contents below) indexed by the major Citation Indices (including ISI): www.worldses.org/indexes

(B) CD-ROM Proceedings with pages' numbers with ISBN and ISSN indexed by the major Citation Indices: www.worldses.org/indexes

(C) WSEAS E-Library

and possible:

(D) JOURNAL PUBLICATION: Authors of high - quality papers have been invited to send extended versions of their papers to the international WSEAS Journals. Necessary Condition was the presentation of the paper in the congress.

Also the society provided the participants with a username and password without an expiry date for on-line access in the WSEAS Conference proceedings (since 1996). The WSEAS Books (participate in ISI), CD-ROM Proceedings and (Journals with selected papers) published by WSEAS Press continue to sell for a long time after the meeting has taken place. This is another demonstration of the prestige the scientific community attribute to the meetings organized by the WSEAS.

After the conference the Organizers received various emails congratulating the WSEAS.
We have selected the following:

From: Prof. Valeri Mladenov <valerim@tu-sofia.bg>

Dear WSEAS Members and friends,

Since 1999  I attend  all WSEAS, CSCC conferences. This year (2007) I had
pleasure to attend the 11th WSEAS CSCC Conference in Agios Nikolaos Crete,
Greece. I can confirm that every year, the conference becomes better and better.
Now this major WSEAS conference, has a very good reputation and it becomes
traditional.

I can say only, that everything (key lectures, plenary lectures, scientific and
social program) was perfect. I would like to encourage you and your team to
continue the efforts  in this direction.

I wish you all the best and hope to hear from you soon.

Best regards,

Valeri Mladenov

From: Prof. Vassilis Gekas <vassilis.gekas@enveng.tuc.gr>

I have for the first time paricipated in a WSEAS Conference and I have been positively impressed.
Both Christine, my co-author, and me we have enjoyed very much the nice Conference in a so nice place of the Aghios Nikolaos suburbs. We met interesting people and  made new friends and possibly new collaborators.
I gave both the common lecture of the Wednesday and the plenary lecture of the next mrning. Since I had much time ,
I have spoken also on another subject of our reasearch activities in my lab, namely on "Dissertification and Global Warming".
I am interested to present this paper in an uppcomong Conference. I see there is one in Tenerife of Spain in the coming December, if you are interested.
I have also been impressed of your personality and the lyra playing of "Steiakes Kondylies". (see below the pictures)

Best Regards from Chania
