From: Paul Ortyl Computer Science Bibliography Administrator http://liinwww.ira.uka.de/bibliography/ liinwwwa@ira.uka.de Dear Dr. Ioannou, Thank you for the quick answer. I need a possibility to download the data from a single and stable URL in a structured format. The best would be BibTeX, but XML is also acceptable... The URL would be polled for changes in a constant time interval. If you think of a global solution, than consider setting a server for OAI-PMH (Open Archive Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting). The OAI-PMH solution would allow also other service providers to harvest your metadata. There is also a problem of extracting the computer science related records. In case of OAI-PMH solution I can do that automatically, but otherwise it may be more difficult. As metadata in this case I would suggest all bibliographic essential data like author, title, year, journal/proceedings (title, editor, ISSN, ISBN,...), but also abstracts and URL's pointing to fulltexts (at your server). If you need any assistance feel free to ask.
